Semaphore South Beach

Last week we had a beach walk at Semaphore. We parked at the far end of the Esplanade. The tide was out and we were able to walk to the breakwater – a rocky wall that previously we’ve kayaked around.

Sea star – possibly a granular sea star.

It was windy so there were not a lot of people on the beach. A fleet of windsurfers were on the water. With no swimmers to watch the surf lifesaving crew were watching the wind kites.

One sleepy seal on the rocks.
